OVERALL RATING
5 out of 5 hearts.

for some real hawaiian food, this is the business. a hole in the wall spot, full of locals donned in flip flops and tank tops, a hawaiian band playing, kids running around having just come from basketball or hula lessons...you get a really comfy family vibe.

where it might lack in elegant decor (none of the chairs or tables match), it more than makes up for with it's menu. it's all about the food. it's not a hawaiian fusion hoity toity place, and it ain't no L&L shit. they have local food as well as more traditional hawaiian cuisine. ibay ordered a loco moco, so yum. the chicken long rice and lomi salmon were off the hook, my saimin was not soggy whatsoever. they have nori wrapped chicken, which is really good too. the chow fun i can live without. but the ultimate test was the lau lau, which if not done correctly can be really dry. but the lau lau at bob's is super soft and moist, so they are definitely on their shit.

definitely better and more authentic than the loft or kings.
