On How to Use People

Getting what you want requires a certain finesse...coaxing if you will. If you're going to use people, do so in a manner that they'll give you what you want because they feel like they want to.

For example:

If you want your friend to hook you up at a club for a MUTUAL friend's birthday, you do not start by asking for the hook up and then invite them as an afterthought. The tactical way to do it is to include them first as an invitee, and then chances are they'll volunteer the hook up themselves! GET IT?!

The intentions are the same, yet the order approach is different.

Yes, either way they know they know that they are being used, but they don't FEEL used. To know is not always to feel.
