A couple of months ago Jackie from Some Notes on Napkins let us in on guilty pleasure Queen's Wardrobe, an e-tailer of beautifully crafted...well...designer knockoffs. I was even able to get a first hand glimpse of her faux-Rocco bag, and it was impressive. Queen's Wardrobe uses quality material, and pays exquisite attention to detail. So when they released a $137 version of my beloved obsession, the $$$$ Proenza PS1, it was tooooo good to pass up. Click, click, ordered!
I am sorry Jack and Lazaro, I love supporting you (I am wearing real Proenza sandals as I type this), but I don't see $1595 entering my handbag budget any time soon.
