Stop and Smell the Roses
A funny thing happened on the way to this blog post.
The thing is, I don't even like roses, but for the past week or so I have been attracted to them for no particular reason. Feeling compelled to save images of roses, my desktop now has a cluster of jpgs that I've gathered. And yesterday I pointed out the blooming bush of coral roses outside of my boyfriend's house. In trying to figure out why I am suddenly drawn to the flower, the only connection I came up with today is that my late grandma wore this super pungent fragrance called Tea Rose.
And then I glanced at my clock phone with my grandma in mind, and what do you know. Today is her death anniversary. I guess she's been trying to say hello in her own special way. Hiiiii.
